P. E. O Star Scholarship for Female Students-Worldwide

This is a privilege for female students who are trying to lower the expense of their college education. The P.E.O Star scholarship offers female nationals of the United States and Canada a $2,500 scholarship to attend any approved institution in the country.

Providing chances for female students worldwide is the main goal of the P.E.O Star Scholarship, an international organization for women.

Information on P.E.O Star Scholarship

Seven students created the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.) on January 21, 1869.

The P.E.O. originates from the doctrine of Methodist Church, Known for advancing women right and education.

The aim of the P.E.O Sisterhood, which is to provide chances for women to pursue higher education, inspires great passion in them.

There are approximately 251, 879 active members throughout P.E.O.’s 5, 866 local chapters in the US and Canada.

They have five philanthropies, which support female’s higher education and include:

Course Level

This scholarship has intense competition. Females who are graduating from high school and have excelled in their academics, extracurricular activities, and community service are eligible for the scholarship.

In the US, there will be a Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O) Star Scholarship (US).

Qualified Nations

United States of America and Canadian nationals are eligible for the scholarship.

Criteria/Requirements for the PEO Star Scholarship in 2022

You must meet the requirements below in order to be qualified for this reward.

1. A 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale is the minimal requirement.

2. Must be in her senior year and not older than 20 at the end of the academic year.

3. The US or Canada must be your lawful home if you don’t already have citizenship there.

4. In the academic year immediately after high school graduation, you must intend to enroll in a recognized post-secondary institution part- or full-time in the US or Canada.

Method of Application| P.E.O Star Scholarship Guidelines

Follow these steps to apply for a P.E.O Star Scholarship:

1. A local chapter will notify the local STAR Scholarship chairman whenever a potential applicant is found, the chairman will set up an interview to determine the applicant’s eligibility.
2. The chairman will then direct the online application procedure if the chapter votes to propose the candidate.
3. Using the username and password she chose when setting up the account, she can access it at any time.
4. You will get an email with directions on how to create her online account and finish her own application.
5.  She will now finish the necessary paperwork, send an email asking for a letter of recommendation, write an essay, and then electronically submit everything to the Office of the Executive, P.E.O.

Acceptable Chapter and Application Rules

1. An unofficial high school transcript, the student’s activity log, a unique essay based on one passage, and two reference letters are also required. A transcript that has not received a stamp, seal, or even a signature making it official is said to be unofficial.

2. At least three authors must be distinct. The same person who wrote the letter of reference cannot write the chapter’s letter of recommendation, which must be submitted separately. Because of this, the application will not be taken into consideration.

3. Please don’t send your transcript via mail to the P.E.O. Executive Office.

4. The province conversion grading scale must be included by a Canadian applicant.

5. At her option, she may give you the money personally or give it to your school.

6. Tuition, fees, books, needed for the course of instruction is recognized as taxable expenses for this fund. The beneficiary is subject to taxes if the funds are used for lodging, meals, or even travel expenditures.

Application Close Date

By December 1st, at the latest, you must submit your application to the P.E.O Executive Officer.
